What A Year!
A Pandemic. New Challenges and Ride Options. And Raising over $1 Million.
What a year it’s been! We’ve all been on a long and windy road this year, so it’s tempting to just say goodbye and good riddance! But we here at Bike to the Beach we would much rather bask in the glory this crazy season provided! We are eternally grateful for all the hard work, commitment and flexibility you all showed this year. Just look at what we all came together to accomplish!
- the addition of the nationwide COVID-19 Add Impact Local Support Challenge, which raised an additional $10,000 for local non-profit partners in April and May
- increased focus on our partners and individuals through expanded communication and blog posts
- creation of a Hybrid Event, allowing participants to choose a combination of virtual and in-person experiences
- successful transition into a full Virtual Event, complete with specific challenges, making us better advocates for our cause
- three safely executed full-scale outdoor events in the middle of a global pandemic
- and most amazingly, TOGETHER we were able to raise $1 Million for the autism and disabilities community—all during massive economic uncertainty
There’s no better way for us to convey our appreciation than by highlighting your smiling faces! Recap this year’s journey with us. We promise that after watching, you’ll want to dance your way into 2021!
